MyPhoneExlorer is a really simple, yet effective tool to help you explore and manage your Google Android phone. Sync your address book, notes, and Calendar with Outlook, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey or Windows.
The design rates at a 4/5. The app on the PC itself is simply designed once the connection is established. The desktop UI looks more like a Windows organizer, with a Files, View, and Extras on the Menu Bar. The design gives you accessible options for selecting Bluetooth, WiFi or USB, and with a simple tap, you can activate any of these. With the relatable desktop UI, regular Windows users will be able to relate immediately to the app.
I’d give the app a 5/5 for functionality and usefulness. You can sync the app with your PC through Bluetooth, WiFi or USB, so everybody has an option here. The app gives you total control over your phone handling calls, rejecting, creating backups, using the PC desktop as your phone input and viewing call lists.
You can also create back-ups, manage SMS (back them up, delete, send SMS from the desktop).
The app allows you to sync your calendar, alarms, contacts, and notes with Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird, Lotus Notes, Sunbird, Windows Calendar, Gmail and a whole host of other options.
The APK get affords you capabilities for enhanced file browsing, renaming files and storage, and bi-directional file syncing. With the latest version, you’ll also get a variety of updates such as an automatic launch via a GCM push command, automatic launch when the phone is tethering and other bug fixes.
You’ll need to get the desktop client too on www.fjsoft.at. The Client is fre, and there are no in-app purchases.
The APK is compatible with a large number of Android phones, basically any that runs Android 1.6 or higher. I’ve also seen that the app is more compatible with Windows 10 and Android 6.0.
- Nice UI;
- Easy to use;
- Automatic tethering.
- Only available for Android mobile and not iOS;
- Few bugs such as errors in connectivity;
- The app works better with certain versions of Windows and Android than others.
Speaking as an advanced user, I found both the Android app and desktop suite fairly simple to use, though they might not be too intuitive for some users. For that reason, I’ll give it a rating of 4/5. The UI is simple to navigate, and the tethering is really fast.
I use this app as a back-up mostly, and it syncs pretty quickly on all my devices. Performing functions such as syncing my calendar and contacts is easy, and I haven’t had any problems with the app so far.
I’d recommend the Google Play app for MyPhoneExplorer Client to anyone who needs a reliable way to access and organize their phones and keep on point with any changes they make to their devices. If you spend a reasonable amount of time on your PC but still need to access all the important stuff on your mobile device, this is the leading app for you. This is an app for all Android devices and only requires Android 1.6. Don’t lose your contacts, notes, logs, calendars, and alarms easily with this great app.
