The Wish app for Android mobile and iOS makes shopping fun and convenient, with the latest version bringing over 100 million merchant items in the décor, clothing, electronics and numerous other consumer goods categories right on your phone.
Wish connects customers with merchants and manufacturers all around the world and delivers huge bargains for household and consumer items. The app makes the desktop process much easier, with a seamless interface and a colorful blue background. The design is intuitive, and the first thing that catches your eye is the shopping display with HD photos of different articles and their prices. This looks great on your Google Android device, iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. The score of the interface is 4.5/5.
There is a clearly displayed panel with the latest, trending goods and a shopping cart. You can select your method of payment. The app also gives you the ability to pay for shipping in the same transaction.
Before you make purchases, you can view the product rating by reading customer reviews about the product. Wish merchants always sign partnership agreements, so you can be sure that most of the products are genuine. The fact that delivery is quite slow is however not helped by the app. You might also want to be wary of purchases under the clothing section due to size differences between the app and the actual delivery.
The app versions offer frequent updates although these are more to do with new products and listings. These are compatible with iOS 9.0 and Android 4.1 respectively. Both Google Play app for this shopping tool and its App store version are free. There are no in-app purchases. The score is 4.5/5.
Convenience and Performance
My experience with the app has been great so far, and I haven’t come across with any bugs or crashes so far. The design is pleasant and uncluttered, and you can navigate through the various options easily. Payment is with a simple swipe on whatever channel you find convenient, whether PayPal, Visa or MasterCard, and there are no delays. Although I experienced a delay in the delivery of the watch I had ordered, these were probably problems on the supplier’s side.
Wish is probably as secure as some of the biggest online retailers such as eBay and Amazon. This isn’t an online store per se but rather lets you cut out the high prices and numerous middlemen from the process. However, product delivery is the responsibility of the seller, although there is a strict refund policy. The domain name is legit according to numerous reviews, and the tools offered by Wish wouldn’t be used by any scammer. My mark of the app’s performance is 4/5.
- IOS and Android apps are secure;
- Fast and responsive support.
- Some commodities lack detailed specifications;
- Returning items is difficult;
- You may end up with vastly different cloth sizes from what you ordered.
Wish is a leading e-commerce app for me, comparable to the big sellers, although it offers limited products and isn’t an e-store in the real sense. This is an app for all Android devices and iOS gadgets too. I’d recommend the app if you are looking for the best bargains and savings and if you aren’t too wary about slow delivery. I’ve become a big fan of the Wish concept.
