- Video calls on Tango are really of high quality
- The app gives you access to news and various entertainment platforms
- Tango features not only calls and text messages but also music, news feed, and so on, and it’s nice to have so many options on just one app
- This app is pretty light as it weighs only about 50 MB.
- There are a lot of scammers and unpleasant people, just like on many other public social platforms
- Some of the games turn out to be just ads or links to download another app. Some of the games promoted may be worth a try, but the way they’re presented on Tango is just annoying
- You may receive too many notifications, mostly from people you have never met before

Tango is a pretty useful communication tool where you can chat with your friends and family as well as meet new people online. You’ve probably heard about Tango or even had it on your smartphone since the app has been on the market for a long time. So, let’s take a closer look at this app.
The interface is rather user-friendly even though there are a lot of tabs, settings, and so on. The tabs feature your friend list, current chats, news feed, channels, and games. Each tab is rather self-explanatory, and the Tango interface doesn’t differ from other apps like that.
For some users, the navigation may be a bit difficult at first but you will probably get used to it soon. Just give Tango some time to come in full force =) 7/10.
With Tango, you can make voice and video calls as well as send text messages. There are lots of funny stickers and filters to express oneself in a creative way. More interestingly, you can play games with friends and family in a chat, and I guess that’s not a common feature for that kind of app.
There are several ways to discover friends: you can add a person from your phone’s contact list, search through people you may know, find folks nearby, or look for famous people.
One more handy feature is that you can create group chats to stay in touch with family, friends, and co-workers. I use Tango mainly for work, so for me, that’s the most useful feature.
In the Tango latest versions, you can also broadcast live videos on the app to become popular and get gifts from fans, as the developer claims. I haven’t tried this option, so it’s hard to say whether one can really become famous on Tango.
You also can share media like photos, videos, audio, and so on via the app. As with any other media-sharing tool, be cautious about what kind of personal information you share with other users. 7/10.
I find the video quality pretty high, although there were a couple of times when the app crashed. This sometimes happens after the Tango updates which, I believe, is the common issue for many other apps, so I don’t want to complain. However, the developers always fix new bugs, just like they did in the Tango latest version.
As for the rest, I find the app’s features pretty useful although I’m not a huge fan of stickers and filters. But that’s the matter of taste =)
The Tango app is compatible with iOS-based devices as well as Android-based ones. You can download it for free on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and Android smartphone. There is also a version for Windows Phone, so Tango is available for almost everyone who has a smartphone or a tablet. 7/10.
I believe Tango is a great communication tool for those who want to keep in touch with their friends and family as well for those who like meeting people online. In the latter case, you should be aware of potential risks that any social-media platform has.
Tango is also a nice app to keep track of events and just have fun from time to time playing games with your friends. So, if you like such multi-functional apps you will probably like the Tango app as well.
